Description
The Ocean Signal SafeSea EPIRB1 Pro is the most compact Float Free EPIRB on the market and is approx. 30% less than other well-known brands. It has modern 66-channel GPS receiver for fast and accurate positioning and Float Free housing for automatic release with Hydrostatic release.
EPIRB1 Pro is also equipped with a powerful strobe light and has a full 10-year battery life as well as intuitive operating controls that protect against accidental activation.
EPIRB1 Pro meets or exceeds all international standards.
The SafeSea EPIRB1 Pro operates on the 406MHz satellite band that supports the international emergency frequencies and is constantly monitored by Cospas-Sarsat, the international search and rescue satellite operator, ensuring a quick response when a signal is received, no matter where in the world it is.
As the world's most compact EPIRB, the EPIRB1 Pro, with its durable design, provides a natural choice that meets the needs of all recreational vessels. Designed for maximum efficiency, the product boasts a 10 year battery life as well as an excellent operating time once activated! This keeps the emergency services updated with your position for longer.
The EPIRB1 Pro is equipped with a 121.5 MHz bearing signal, which is used by rescue services to locate vessels in distress when they are close to it. In addition, the EPIRB1 is equipped with a high-brightness LED strobe light for additional attention, especially at night. In emergency situations where a user is physically unable to reach their EPIRB in time, the EPIRB1 Pro comes complete with a Category I automatic release housing / 'float free'. This ensures that the EPIRB is automatically released from the mount by the internal Hydrostatic Release, then automatically activates and floats to the surface to send your distress message to the satellite network.
The Automatic Release Housing (ARH) comes with a convenient adapter that provides more options for retrofitting using the same mounting holes previously used for older and larger EPIRBS such as the Ocean Signal E100 / E100G, Jotron Tron 60s and McMurdo E5 / G5 .
