Via your own AIS equipment, your location is sent to nearby vessels that are equipped with AIS equipment. The TB-520 is small, light and simple to use.
In an emergency, the TB-520 can be activated either automatically (via water sensor) or manually. When it is activated, a warning message is sent with GPS position and a unique AIS MOB number that is pre-programmed in the device. The device can be mounted on your life jacket with the included clips.
Remove the red cap to use the antenna. Pull off the yellow tab to manually activate the device. Keep the antenna up to ensure the best signal.
IP68 waterproof up to 50 meters. Battery life: Must be replaced after 5 years.
