Description
Ocean Signal rescueME PLB1 Battery.
Battery replacement must be carried out by Scanmarine, which is an approved Ocean Signal PLB Service station, as the battery is located inside the PLB together with the printed circuit board.
Proper watertight sealing and testing must be performed on the PLB before it is put into service.
Must be serviced as follows:
Upon receipt, your PLB will receive a full inspection
Test of HEX identification
The battery is changed (LB7P) and the seals are renewed
Counters for driving time, GPS test etc. are reset
Tests will then be performed to check 406, 121.5, GPS and strobe functionality
Tested to ensure the unique HEX ID is still programmed
Water test to ensure PLB is not leaking with its new seals
