Liquid and personal containment. Lotek's EN1869: 1997 approved fire blanket is the optimal solution when a fire occurs in smaller units of liquid such as e.g. frying pans, oil barrels, drums etc. Likewise, the fire blanket is the best defense against fire in and on people.
The fire blanket quickly and effectively smothers the fire by removing the influx of oxygen. Whereas conventional hand fire extinguishers can often cause damage if used in firefighting efforts in and on people, the blanket ensures a quick extinguishment without negative consequences. Action with the fire blanket also ensures a minimal extent of consequential damage.
