Author and publisher Bent Lyman, skipper of the icon 10mR boat ?Ghoster? from 1927, is a particularly well-known name in sailing circles via lectures, articles and books. Bent Lyman, who has sailed over 100,000 nautical miles with ?Ghoster?, has written about yachting since 1978, when he and his wife Ulla-Britt were the first Danish yachtsmen to sail along the entire west coast of Norway and round the North Cape. That sailing trip resulted in a series of articles in the then boat magazine ?Båden i Dag?, and Bent Lyman then became and still is a sought-after writer and lecturer who was previously associated with Arte. Bent Lyman has collaborated with press photographer Arne Magnussen for more than 20 years. Arne Magnussen is known for his magnificent aerial photographs, and together they have published articles about harbors and anchorages in Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Northern Germany, as well as the extremely popular book ?Danmarks Dejligste Øer? in 2010.?Denmark's Most Beautiful Anchorages? takes the reader on an odyssey to 103 fantastic anchorages from the beautiful shores of the Limfjord in the northwest to Bornholm's ditto in the east. There is not a corner of Denmark that does not offer protected anchorages, and when you disregard the individual pearls of the Wadden Sea, the whole of Denmark is covered in inspiring text and images of ?Denmark's Dejligste Ankerplädzer? . All the anchorages can in principle be ?explored? in one day, but since most locations are exciting and offer an interesting history, you can stay for several days if you have been inspired by Arne Magnussen's fabulous aerial photographs and Bent Lyman's whimsical pen.
