COMPATIBILITY WITH COREPACK

This corepack is an ideal autopilot solution for single outboard motor boats under 25' in length 1 . It makes it easy to manually hold the steering wheel to maintain course, especially when sailing at moderate to high speed 2 .

9-AXIS SOLID-STATE AHRS

With the advanced 9-axis solid-state AHRS, you can mount the Reactor 40 virtually anywhere and in any direction. It even reduces power consumption, minimizes directional errors and much more.

REACTS TO THE WATER CONDITIONS

Stay on course at sea - this autopilot reacts to conditions so you can stay safe even when pitching or rolling.

SIMPLE CALIBRATION AND INSTALLATION

All autopilots require startup adjustment and calibration. Reactor 40 does it quickly and easily. This autopilot is easy to install with flexible mounting options.

WIRELESS REMOTE FUNCTIONS

Control your autopilot from anywhere on the boat using your compatible Garmin devices, including the Reactor autopilot remote control, select quatix ® marine smartwatches, and more (requires a compatible Garmin plotter or GHC 50 autopilot instrument).

SHADOW DRIVE™ TECHNOLOGY

Get more freedom when maneuvering your boat. This corepack allows the option of Shadow Drive technology to disable the autopilot automatically when you turn the steering wheel.

Connect to everything on your boat

OPTIONAL GHC 50 BUNDLE

Combine the Reactor 40 autopilot with the GHC 50 autopilot instrument to add a dedicated touchscreen autopilot display to your wheelhouse. In addition, the GHC 50 allows you to share data and settings with Garmin MFDs and other installed Garmin devices.

FUNCTIONS FOR MOTOR BOATS AND SAILING VESSELS

When connected to your compatible Garmin chartplotter, all Reactor 40 corepacks have features for powerboats and sailboats, including hold course and incremental turns – plus wind control and turn/boom when paired with a wind sensor (sold separately). You can even get additional benefits such as follow route and Auto Guidance+™ functions3.

1 Requires a compatible Garmin plotter (sold separately)
2 Not recommended for fishing or applications where heading must be maintained while trolling at low speeds or when used in rough water. For applications that require accurate heading control, it is recommended to use our higher performance Reactor 40 models. The Compact Reactor uses a gear pump with limited performance compared to equivalent flow piston pumps. Not recommended for installations with Power Assist, engines over 150 hp or boats with more than 12 degrees of hull inclination. Mount the pump within 6' of the master cylinder for best results.
3 Auto Guidance is for planning purposes only and cannot replace safe navigation
