The Garmin GT8HW-IH is the first high-frequency CHIRP transducer for inboard mounting. Mounting on the inside of the hull is easy and reliable, and due to the clean flow of water over the hull, proper inboard mounting provides excellent sonar visibility, even at high speed.
This transducer has a wide-cone CHIRP fishfinder (150-240 kHz) and transmit power of 250 W – perfect for finding fish in shallow to medium-deep water. It can be used with a stern-mounted GT30-TM transducer and an adapter cable, allowing you to maintain depth measurements at high speeds but gain scanning functionality at trolling speeds.
