Description
- Designed for racing boats
- One meter mounting rod raises the transducer above the mast to eliminate turbulence from the sail
- Twin-fin design with three-bladed propeller for more accurate wind speed (TWS: True Wind Speed) in lighter winds provides a more stable indication of wind angle (TWA: True Wind Angle)
- Optical readout technology provides superior performance at low wind speeds and excellent linearity
- The GND™ 10 black box transmits NMEA 2000® data to the Nexus Network and allows compatible Garmin chartplotters to be integrated with Nexus sailing equipment and vice versa
Designed for racing boats, the gWind Race has a one meter mounting pole which can raise the transducer above the mast to eliminate turbulence errors. Features twin-fin technology with a three-bladed propeller, which provides more accurate wind speed in lighter winds, while the twin-fin design provides more stable wind angle. Unlike the cup design, the three-bladed propeller is always efficient.
Combined with optical readout, this transducer provides superior accuracy at low wind speeds as well as excellent linearity. Connection is made using our lightest cable. The supplied GND 10 black box enables the sharing of NMEA 2000 data between the Nexus Network and compatible Garmin plotters. Easy plug-and-play installation between Nexus, Garmin plotters and NMEA 2000.
