B-Free Conversion Coat is a 2-component specialty primer used to seal existing traditional basecoat before overcoating with B-Free Tiecoat and then B-Free Explore.
Compatible with most traditional primers in good condition without the need to remove them. Seals existing bottom paint and makes it easy to switch to a biocide-free B-Free system. Only 1 coat is required before applying B-Free Tiecoat.
The entire BFree system can be applied over two days. To get the best result, the system is applied according to the following schedule and within it specified overcoating time: Day 1 (morning): Application of specific primer or BFree Conversion Coat, Day 1 (afternoon): Application of BFree Tiecoat. Day 2 (morning: Application of BFree Explore (layer 1), Day 2 (afternoon): Application of BFree Explore (layer 2).
