Description
The rescueME PLB1 from Ocean Signal can be operated with one hand in even the most demanding situations. A simple spring-loaded flap covers the activation button to prevent accidental activation.
RescueME PLB1 works with the only officially recognized search and rescue satellite network (operated by Cospas Sarsat) in the world. This is funded by governments worldwide and therefore requires no fees for using the service.
When rescueME PLB1 is activated, your position and ID are sent to a rescue center via satellite connection. The rescue service closest to your position is then immediately informed of the emergency situation and notified of your current position for rapid rescue efforts.
