The 12-pin Panoptix LiveScope LVS12 transducer provides an affordable way to get live scanning sonar into your GPSMAP ® 8400xsv Series chartplotter without a black box system. The transducer includes electric motor and stern mounting.
Easily switch between views
A simple menu-driven display switch allows switching from one display to another without the need for manual adjustment of the transducer. You can also have both views on your display, side by side. Forward view provides a 30 degree Panoptix LiveScope view of structure and swimming fish in real time up to 60m away from the boat. Use it to cast directly to fish you see on the screen and watch their reactions to your bait. Downward viewing provides a 30 degree Panoptix LiveScope view of structure and swimming fish in real time up to 60m below the boat. Use it for vertical fishing and spear fishing. You can also use the LVS12 transducer as a supplemental source to traditional and ClearVü sonar.
