When you acquire a PLB or EPIRB, your MMSI number must be encoded in the product.
If you do not have an MMSI number, this can be obtained by contacting the Danish Maritime Authority. (LINK)
When coding, we must have stated the following:
1. MMSI no.
2. Call sign
3. Boat name
4. Owner's name, address, e-mail address and telephone number
5. Contact details of 1 additional person, including name and 24 hour phone number. (For use to confirm the timeliness of an emergency notification).
6. CPR. number for correct registration of the equipment with the Danish Maritime Authority.
