Sea-Fire 131-440 Engine shutdown control system
Description:
In the engine room of many vessels, the performance of an automatic engine fire extinguishing system can be affected by the equipment it is designed to protect.
Motors, fans and fans can consume or break down the extinguishing agent before the fire is completely extinguished.
The Sea-Fire Fire-Stop Engine Shutdown System is designed to automatically shut down engines and any other ventilation system as soon as the Sea-Fire system detects a fire and activates.
There are three sizes which can close 4, 6 or 8 different units:
For example, the 4-circuit model can shut down two motors and two motor fans.
The 6-circuit model could shut down two engines, one generator, two engine fans/fans and other equipment.
This new generation of Engine Shutdown Systems utilizes microprocessor technology to improve functionality and flexibility.
Attention has been directed to producing a device that is quick and easy to install. The new display panel is plug and play via a CAT5 cable connection. All models comply with ISO marine 8846 and meet CE approval standards.
Please note that you must also order the correct Sea-Fire Engine Shutdown Control Panel as well as the main unit.
