INSTALLATION OF HEATERS:
· Diesel heaters "rumble" a bit, therefore they should be placed in the stern/coffin bench/engine compartment so that the sound is not heard in the cabin (apart from a little air noise).
· The exhaust gas is led into a "gooseneck" up under the deck and then out through the side/rear.
· Fresh, oxygenated air is led heated into the cabin(s) through air hoses.
· Recirculation of air = repeated heating of hot air is not recommended.
· Fresh air is easier to "heat" than recirculated air.
· The room in which the heater is placed must be well ventilated with sufficient "cold" fresh air access.
· The heater's combustion air must either be led to an open valve or taken from outside (called balanced exhaust).
· Experience shows that the heater itself is "only" approx. 50% The marine accessories and the assembly itself are at least 50% of the finished result.
